Why a Natural Finish?
Many people, especially children, may suffer from the off-gassing that occurs with plywood, composite woods and polyurethane finishes.
Our furniture is simple and all wood - no plywood, no composite, no faux finished wood. Natural oak, cherry, walnut and poplar, made in Ohio, from U.S. eco-friendly lumber.
The Amish have a simple way of doing things. They make solid quality constructed furniture meant to last generations. After all if you are going to do something once you should do it right!
Our Mission style collection consists of: bed, dresser, chest on chest and nightstand.
Our Plain style collection consists of: bed, or bunk bed, dresser, lingerie chest, armoire, and nightstand.
We hand-finish with shellac or tung oil, each piece with care and attention.
Our beds are made to fit our mattresses and offer years of support. However if you already have a futon mattress, we can offer you a futon frame at an additional charge.
Since each piece is handmade, please give up to 6-8 weeks for delivery.

You can order a sample packet of material for $20, which will includes fabrics, batting, and latex. Wood samples are also available for our exposed wool furniture for $20: see the woods and how they look shellacked. Each of these is samples is good for $15 worth off a purchase of a piece of furniture.

Designed for
an organic wine company and lovingly tucked into an
1823 brick farm house, this sofa is one of a kind
(so far). Solid Oak, no plywood, no "extra"
metal, organic cotton batting, organic wool batting,
natural rubber Dunlop and natural talalay latex cushions.
