Quilted Top Bedding
When you go buy a mattress in a store, you might be drawn to the quilted top. There are all sorts of quilting and various qualities of quilted top. Know what you are looking at, and what it is quilted to.
Quilted top bedding comes in many thickness, from 1/4 of a inch to 2 inches or more. The thicker the quilted top the more cloud-like it is. However if you get a really thick quilted top you are getting lots and lots of stuffing and if this is synthetic stuffing you are getting lots and lots of off-gassing.
The quality of the quilting will show in the quilted top bedding. Does the quilting skip? Is the quilting straight? Is the quilt thickening consistent? Ask about these things and look for yourself.
